Joy brings over 15 years of corporate experience to her work as a coach and facilitator with executives, senior managers and teams. Joy is a qualified and experienced Co-Active Coach, as well as a Facilitator of personal and organisational transformation. She facilitates programs such as Leadership Development, Emotional Intelligence, Personal Insights and Mastery, Developing High Performance Teams & Courageous Conversations in both the private and public sectors and para-statals.
She is a certified CTT (Cultural Transformation Tools) Consultant from The Barrett Values Centre. Her experience in corporate positions as a Human Resources Development Specialist and Organisational Development Specialist at Anglo American as well as being an independent consultant for the past 9 years, has provided her with an understanding of the challenges that face executives, senior managers, teams and individuals in the workplace.
Joy is curious, transparent, results-driven, challenging, passionate, empathetic and compassionate. She enjoys co-creating with clients to ensure that any intervention has sustainable impact. Joy’s approach to her work is holistic; believe that her clients are naturally creative, resourceful, powerful and whole and therefore can find answers to their challenges within themselves. Her motto is “Organisations do not transform, people do” by Richard Barrett. She loves working with organisations that want to evolve their culture through implementation of shared values.
Joy has been trained as a Facilitator of Transformation by McKinsey & Company and Gita Bellin & Associates in Europe. Her academic background is in Human Resources Management and holds a Leadership Coaching qualification from The Coaches Training Institute Europe. Joy is passionate about education and has worked with Partners for Possibility, Gauteng Department of Education and Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership & Governance. She was a Lead Process Facilitator for 10 Principals from underperforming schools in Soweto paired with 10 Business Partners on a one year Leadership Development Programme from Feb 2015-Feb 2016.
She is a proud rural girl, born in Soweto and grew up in a rural village outside Polokwane – Limpopo called Mamehlabe and now resides in Johannesburg. Joy is a lover of life and on a mission to fulfill her purpose through raising consciousness in humanity. She is passionate about Conscious Capitalism and Values Driven Leadership.
