Hema Vallabh

Hema is an Associate of IDM. She has a wealth of experience ranging from being a qualified engineer, a serial social entrepreneur, co-founder of a global NPO WomEng, a certified ontological coach and a self-acclaimed product of Mentorship. She is a multi-passionate millennial and a visionary thought-leader. Calling on her powerful combination of expertise, Hema has developed key content and interventions, culminating in pioneering the profession of Mentorship Practitioners.

She is an alumna of the FORTUNE 500 Global Women’s Mentoring program and an avid advocate for leadership development on the continent, with a strong focus on women. In her TED Talk (TedX Johannesburg Women) she speaks of finding her purpose, a theme that initiated in the space of developing Women in Engineering, but has subsequently extended far beyond and plays an integral role in all the work she does. She is also a board member of the Canon Collins Trust Alumni Network and Chairperson of the Global Community of Mentorship Practitioners (GCOMPs).
